Robin has been in the insurance industry 9 years, working in both the independent and captive markets. Robin serves the members in AK, CA, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY. She and her husband David have 6 daughters who have blessed them with 8 grandchildren. Her hobbies include showing, training, & riding horses with youngest daughter as well as participates in the local 4H Club as a certified leader. She also enjoys riding ATVs and the outdoors in her spare time.

Since they refuse to pay her to be the "Telcom Cruise Director", she concentrates her efforts in the areas of risk management, corporate operations management (including licensing and professional memberships and social activities), human resources, benefit planning, and meeting seminar planning. She directs Telcom Risk Management, which focuses on all claims, safety issues, education, training, risk management assessments, and loss control programs. She coordinates the content and design of all advertising and marketing products and serves as editor for all Telcom publications. On a personal level, her favorite things other than Cowboys—specifically Troy Aikman, are her spoiled bischon dawg--Bella, her nieces and nephews (this Aunt thing is the way to go), and the "tiny condo" in Myrtle Beach. Technically, she is customer of one of our customers—HTC—and says how fabulous their service is!

Cheri serves as a front-line claims advocate for all of our policyholders with all of our carriers. She also, serves as the assistant to the Company's corporate officers in handling Shareholder and Board of Directors' administrative functions. Cheri is the registrar for all policyholder data. Outside of work, her favorite activities include reading, gardening, cooking and caring for her two dogs. With her green thumb, there's not a plant alive that she can't grow, and she's pretty good about reviving other people's plants (so, we've heard from several folks in the office). She's always a member of Telcom's Social Committee not just because she is very thoughtful, but because she makes fabulous desserts…and we love desserts around here. Occasionally, she even makes us homemade biscuits with the perfect flour that comes from somewhere in KS (hint to the KS folks). But most of all, she enjoys sharing these activities with her family—especially her six grandkids.

Melissa comes to us with over 40 years of insurance sales and management experience. Melissa's areas of expertise are in Nonprofits; Financial Institutions; Law Groups; Real Estate/Hotel Development; Technology and Production Companies, among other industries. She is the Past Maryland State Director of the International Association of Insurance Professionals and continues to be involved in the insurance education committees of local chapters. Melissa is married to a retired Insurance Attorney who currently works as a legal consultant and insurance expert witness, along with teaching Insurance Agents "Best Practices" procedures. Melissa and her husband have four grown children and 1 grandson with another "on the way". They share their home with two West Highland Terriers.

As the CEO of the Company, Pete directs all aspects of Company operations and is ultimately responsible for finance, underwriting, risk management, and corporate functions. He maintains all regulatory partner and vendor relationships. He is responsible for the overall management of the Underwriting/Field Account Executives and development and maintenance of the insurance programs. He is often asked to speak and write on insurance matters for both the telecommunications and insurance industries. He also manages the insurance and risk management needs many of the NTCA members. He has two children that light up his life: Alex and Julianne. When not engaged with his family, he enjoys playing golf, doing anything that involves baseball (even coaching Little League), football (including some coaching for the local Warhawk team) or simply just being outside. He really believes that business and pleasure can mix on the golf course…call him and ask him to test that theory.

Alyssa is working as a Junior Underwriting/Marketing Technician. She helps all of the Underwriting Technicians and will soon begin servicing policyholders on her own. Alyssa and Beckie assemble your 3-ring policy binders as well. She is a recent Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania graduate, who majored in marketing and recently received her Property Casualty Insurance License. She is an avid runner who has completed various runs including two Color Me Rad runs and the relay portion of the Baltimore marathon. When she is not working or running, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her nephew. She loves cooking, especially trying a new recipe that she finds on Pinterest. Alyssa is a huge sports fan. Her favorite teams include the Eagles and the Yankees, but she won’t pass up an opportunity to go to a Baltimore Orioles game. Not only does she enjoy watching sports, she loves to play them as well. As most of the other staff members at Telcom, she is an animal lover as well; she has two cats Abby and Cally.

Sue is the supervisor for the Underwriting Department’s staff and manages the department’s workload to meet internal and external deadlines for both the policyholders and for the carriers. She also oversees the Directors and Officers Liability program for the NTCA members and assists in non-traditional telco-specific program underwriting. She and her husband, Bill, have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. Her favorite activities include visiting the kids and grandkids, attending as many Redskins games as possible, camping, hiking and playing with her two Boston Terriers, Gus and Evie.

Brian is the General Ledger Accountant. His primary responsibilities include maintaining monthly general ledger entries, assist with month end closing deadlines, perform various account reconciliations and serve as support for accounts payable and accounts receivable. He attended the University of Baltimore with a concentration in accounting. He has worked for both the public and non-profit sector of the accounting world. In his spare time, he enjoys bike riding, playing tennis and watching sports (Go Ravens!).

Julie is our IN resident, living close to Santa Claus…not the actual one, but the small town in IN. She brings with her a wealth of telecommunications experience. Julie and her husband, Jan, have two daughters, Kyla and Madison. Her favorite activities are watching her daughters play softball, spending time with family and friends, watching sports - "Colts & Yankees", and reading.

Joyce has worked for Telcom since March of 1996. When not traveling, she works from her home office south of Annapolis, MD and on the Chesapeake Bay. She loves to travel for fun and for work. She meets with her member systems in their communities and enjoys the various state and regional meetings. She proudly represents the Telcom program wherever she goes. When she’s not working, she enjoys kayaking on the creek, walking along the bay front, gathering with neighbors on someone’s pier to watch the sun go down, genealogy, photography, and marking things off (and thinking of things to add to) her bucket list. She’s usually the one behind the camera at meetings. She has nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren in Kansas and western Maryland and treasures every minute she gets to spend with them.

He lives in Denton, TX with his wife, Josie, and they have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Janice supports the field and underwriting departments at Telcom, but mostly she works with Leonard. She is responsible for the creation, application, and processing of marketing and underwriting documents in her assigned area. Telcom insureds have come to know Janice as a key contact that bridges the underwriting and marketing efforts of the company. She is also the key contact for maintaining our agency management system of customer data. Janice, who has a few grandbabies, is the only girl in her house; her husband and sons reap the rewards of two of her hobbies—baking and gardening. FYI: If she ever offers you some of her pound cake, make sure you take a BIG piece. In her free time, she also enjoys reading mystery novels.

Brian Jordan has been working in the insurance industry since 1984 when he started at Hanover Insurance Company in Piscataway, New Jersey as a policy checker.  After graduating from Kean University in Union, New Jersey he became a Personal Lines Underwriter.  He has worked on both the agency, broker and carrier side of the industry.  He enjoys playing ping pong and taking cruises with his wife, Robin and son, Brandon. He is extremely passionate about the Dallas Cowboys and his 2012 Black Camaro, Black Betty.

Beckie provides excellent customer service to all of her accounts but mostly works with Robin and Kim. She also provides the customer service for some of our broker partners, billing for the Stay Connected Cell Phone program, and other affiliate accounts. Beckie and Alyssa assemble your 3-ring policy binders as well. In her time away from the Telcom office, Beckie keeps busy with her husband, three children, and granddaughter. Her interests include: bowling, golfing, cooking, and being an avid football fan (the Baltimore Raven’s Purple Friday works well with our Friday casual days). When she’s not participating in or watching sports, she loves to travel and spend time with friends at the beach.

Kim began her insurance career in 1982 at Alliance Insurance Company. She is a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives and Certified Insurance Counselors of Austin, Texas. She is also a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals and the Wichita Area Insurance Professionals. She and her husband Ward have three daughters. Daughter Nicole and her husband Jacob have blessed them with their first granddaughter, Auriahna. Her hobbies include reading, gardening, traveling, and golfing. In addition to her states, Kim will continue to work in the Northwest Region in a managerial capacity.

Theresa has over 20 years experience selling and servicing all lines of commercial business insurance; most recently in the fields of international, technology, and specialty programs. She is taking the lead role in helping grow and build relationships with our DHI clients. While she is now being announced as a Telcom employee, she has known and worked with Telcom for several years and is happy to now be an integral part of the Agency and staff. She is working on her Association in Risk Management designation. When not working she takes care of 2 children (Bryce and Olivia), 3 if you include the family dog (Brutus) from their home in Charlotte NC. The week is filled with school and outside activities and there is always something to do on the weekend with local fun events. She enjoys Zumba herself and loves to catch a few minutes of reading when possible.

Dan is one of our newest employees. He comes to us from Central Pennsylvania with more than 30 years of progressive financial management experience in working for both insurance companies and insurance agencies. He is responsible for managing our Accounting and Finance operations for both the Captive and the Agency. In his spare time he plays tennis, goes hiking, and plays guitar. He and his wife and lab (Bruce) reside in PA and he commutes to MD.

Tisa joined the Telcom team in 2004, coming with more than 15 years of insurance experience. In addition to her duties as the first-line contact for the Directors and Officers Insurance program, she is also responsible for servicing some P&C accounts, working mostly with Julie and Joyce. She likes to ski, ride motorcycles, read, take long walks, exercise, and watch basketball—whenever possible. The family is now very busy with the kids and their sporting activities (basketball, swimming and karate). They enjoy vacationing, trying to fill up their passports, and hopefully making it to Italy and Hawaii…one of these days.

Todd supports the field and underwriting departments at Telcom, mostly working with Joyce and Julie. Telcom insureds will come to know Todd as a key contact that bridges the underwriting and marketing efforts of the company. Is there a lighthouse on the East Coast that Todd, his wife, Zee, and their dogs haven’t seen and taken a picture of? Not likely. They have also visited a good amount of lights on the Great Lakes and even some in Canada & Scotland as well. When they are not tracking down lighthouses, Todd, Zee, and there dogs, Zoey & Shiloh, foster dogs from time to time for the Montgomery County Humane Society and have been able to find forever homes for 5 lucky dogs to date. Todd is an avid volleyball player and he and Zee play on several teams in local volleyball leagues. Todd is a huge Buffett, that’s Jimmy Buffett, fan and he has been to almost 100 Buffett shows over the years. Ask him about his “hat” he wears to the concerts—it’s about 10 pounds of pure fun and it even “lights up”. His office area is decorated in a nautical theme with lighthouses, palm trees, flamingos, and sharks. And, if you stop by on Fridays, odds are that you’ll see him in one of his many Hawaiian shirts.

Lana's primary duties include working with Dan to ensure the accounts payable and receivables. She also handles bank reconciliations, general ledger accounts, expense reports, deposits, and monthly closing timelines. She is also currently attending Howard Community College for a mass communications degree with a focus on business. Her hobbies are hiking, traveling, and baking. Lana is a huge foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants and foods. She's also a fan of DC sports teams, especially the Redskins and the Nationals. She has an Australian Shepherd, named Sydney, who has turned her into a crazy animal lover…as our most of us here at Telcom. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and spending as much time with her 3 siblings as she can.

Christina "Tina" M. Wynter

Tina's primary responsibilities are to work on Risk Management projects, such as our Safety Video Program, assisting with meeting planning, like our Annual Risk Management Conference, assisting with the Administrative/Corporate functions of the organization, and is our database administrator. She also writes our Quarterly Safety Mailers, many of the materials for Monthly Loss Prevention Awareness Program for policyholders, and an article for each RMM publication. Tina is also our Social Networking go-to gal… she has assisted many in the office with creating a Facebook Profile Page and is also the creator and administrator of the Telcom Facebook Page. Sticking with the on-line theme, Tina played a major role in creating and launching our Telcom and TISC website and also keeps them updated. Tina is married with two children, her daughter Jordan is a high school student who is a cheerleader for her school and is an active member in her ROTC program. Her son Kirk, II is in elementary school and enjoys reading and video games. Tina and her husband, Kirk, own a part-time photography business, which they run out of their home located in Chesapeake Beach, MD. They also are part owners of a security consulting company and are a TISC policyholder. Along with being an avid bike rider, both mountain and road, she enjoys any challenging outdoor activity, gardening, and baking/cooking.
